We craft every quiz around your event. Questions can reference the couple, the venue, inside jokes — whatever makes your guests laugh and lean in. The algorithm translates their answers into chemistry, but the experience feels like a game. Guests compare results, debate answers, and watch each other’s bottles get made. It’s entertainment that happens to produce a luxury keepsake.

How much space does the machine need?
About the footprint of a small cocktail station — a standard 6-foot table is more than enough. We bring everything and handle setup.
Do you provide an attendant?
Yes. Every booking includes a dedicated A Priori attendant who runs the machine, guides guests through the experience, and handles any questions.
What if a guest has allergies or sensitivities?
All 12 botanical oils in our palette are clearly listed, and guests can exclude any ingredient before their formula is generated. We also provide full ingredient disclosure on every bottle.
How long does each bottle take?
About two minutes from quiz completion to finished bottle. Multiple guests can take the quiz simultaneously on their own phones, so there’s never a long wait.
What do guests take home?
A 30ml branded glass bottle of their 1‑of‑1 botanical fragrance. Every label shows the guest’s name, their unique formula with the full scent structure, and a custom event line — like “Compounded at The Smith Wedding, Napa Valley.” It’s a keepsake, not a party favor.
Can you customize the quiz for our event?
Absolutely — that’s the point. We design the 10 questions around your event: references to the couple, the venue, inside jokes, whatever makes it feel personal. The algorithm still works the same; the experience just feels like yours.
Do you travel outside the Bay Area?
Yes. We’re based in Marin County and primarily serve the Bay Area, Napa, and Sonoma, but we’re available for destination events. Reach out and we’ll make it work.
